Challenge

Digital Realty required a systems integrator capable of delivering a fully integrated Building Management System for a new hyperscale data center facility in West Africa — to the same operational standard as their global portfolio. The project demanded deep competency in critical environment automation, precision cooling management, and rigorous commissioning against institutional-grade acceptance criteria.

Solution

Pontis Systems delivered a unified supervisory BMS architecture integrating all mechanical and electrical building systems on open-protocol infrastructure (BACnet/IP, Modbus). The scope covered full CRAC/CRAH coordination, chilled water loop control, critical power monitoring across UPS, generators, and ATS, environmental safeguarding systems, and a structured alarm management framework with automated escalation.

Outcome

Successful functional acceptance testing against Digital Realty operational specifications. System commissioned and handed over with full engineering documentation — cause-and-effect matrices, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and commissioning records. Facility operational and fully staffed.
